Glenafton are delighted to announce the signing of 25 year old defender Ally Park from Auchinleck Talbot on a 2 year deal.

‘Local lad’ Ally joined the Rangers youth set-up before moving to Hibernian in 2008/09 where he was part of the successful U19 side that won the league before completing a tremendous double after beating Rangers in the cup final at Hampden. The following season Ally was one of a number summer signings at Clyde by manager John ‘Bomber’ Brown , others including former Glenafton players Jamie Doyle and Mark Casey.

He made 57 appearances in his two seasons at the ‘Bully Wee’ before joining the Junior ranks in 2011/12 with Auchinleck Talbot. During Ally’s four seasons at Beechwood he made 161 appearances and the club won, many trophies including the Scottish Junior Cup twice and became the first team to win the West Region Premier Division title three seasons-in-a-row.
