It took the Glens less than 10mins to take the lead with a flowing move down the right saw the ball crossed into the box and dispatched past the away keeper 1-0 Glens(McKee). The home side were dominating the opening 25mins and it didnt take long for goal number two for the home side and it looked like a carbon copy of the first when another flowing move and cross this time from the left was blasted past the Vics keeper giving Glenafton a 2-0 (Ryan)deserved scoreline. The away team slowly got to grips with the home teams attacking forward line and started to get some play without really testing the Glens defence, and the first half ended at half time 2-0 to the home side.
