Glenafton were first-footers at Newlandsfield as the two sides faced each other for the third time this season. As in the previous two Scottish Junior Cup ties there was little between the teams. The visitors had the opportunity to break the deadlock in the second half after substitute Leon Murphy was brought down in the box, however keeper Jordan Longmuir repeated his penalty shoot-out heroics and saved Mick McCann’s spot-kick. Another stalemate appeared to be on the cards before controversy struck four minutes into added time when substitute Craig Menzies was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box. Ryan McGregor slotted home the spot kick and Pollok bagged the three points .
