David Gray
David Glenafton made in 3 wins in a row on the road with a well deserved local derby victory.
The visitors opened the scoring on 10 minutes when Darren McGill was fouled just outside the box after gathering a pass from David Gray. It was Gray that stepped up to whip one of his text book free-kicks beyond the wall and into the corner of the net outwith the reach of keeper Darren Johnson. The New Cumnock side bossed the remainder of the half albeit without adding to their tally .
Although Cumnock came more into the game in the second half the Glnes were creating the bettter of the chances on show and Gray was unlucky not to bag his brace after his shot crashed off the bar. With two minutes remaining Kyle McAusalnd gathered the ball inside his own half and from tight the right-wing clipped a great ball over the heads of the Cumnock defence for Mick McCann to chase it down in the box and on reaching the goal-line whip it across the face of goal beyond the keeper for the incoming Dallas to chest into the gaping net for 2-0 at the back post.
