Glenafton made one change to the side that started against Hurlford on Monday night with Craig McGuffie replacing Jamie Hay for the trip to Scottish Junior Cup finalists Pollok.

The home side broke the deadlock five minutes before the interval after a short corner kick was whipped into the heart of the box for the incoming Paul Gallacher to bullet home a header. Two goals in a three minute spell midway through the second half effectively settled the match in Pollok’s favour. A break down the right ended with Liam Rowan picking up a slick back-heel and burst into the box before slamming home a low angled shot. Another fine passage of play down the right saw Robbie Winters try the same approach as Rowan only for  Brian McGarrity to block his shot but the keeper could do little to stop  Davie Winters slam home the rebound
