Glens looked to have a created an opening for an equaliser with the assistant flagged a hand-ball in the Arthurlie box only for the referee to overrule and wave play on. To rub salt in the wound the visitors broke upfield and Chris Mackie finished off in some style thrashing the ball past keeper Brian McGarrity.
The Barrhead side were well in control and seemed content with their lead only for Glens to pull one back ten minutes from time after a cross into the box was headed into his own net by Scott Gair.
The tempo increased as the hosts pressed for a leveller only for the hopes to be dealt a blow with the dismissal of substitute Darren McGill’s reaction to Rhys Devlin’s foul. The ten-men redoubled their efforts and won another free-kick in the dying minutes and although a shot at goal was blocked Ally Park (left) was on hand to thunder home a deserved equaliser.
