Glenafton made one change to the eleven that started against Auchinleck on Saturday with goalkeeper David Markey returning from suspension and coming in for James Martin. While in the Largs line-up was former Glens striker Scot Adam.

After a goal-less first half it was striker Will Sewell that broke the deadlock on 50 minutes curling a fine shot from 15 yards beyond the reach of keeper Markey. Thistle doubled their lead on 65 minutes after Markey pulled off a fine save from Adam’s close range shot only for Stuart Faulds pounce on the loose ball and slam it home from 6 yards out. In the closing minutes Glens striker Calvin Kemp was sent off after collecting a second yellow card.
