The management, players and committee have  been considering ways to honour the memory of Maggie Buchan who sadly passed away this year.

The club have costed the  design (see below) , manufacture and installation of a memorial bench at Loch Park.

Maggie Buchan Memorial Shield

Glenafton’s pre-season fixtures will now include a challenge match for the Maggie Buchan Memorial Shield. The inaugural match will be played on Saturday 13th July 2019 at Loch Park. Details of the opposition and kick-off time will follow.  Prior to kick-off Maggie’s  family and club captain Craig Menzies will unveil the memorial bench.

What can you do?

We are looking for donations from committee , players/staff and supporters towards the cost of the bench . We would appreciate all your support for this well deserved memento. There will be a collection at this evening’s game against Auchinleck Talbot.
