aa_a_dalemoore05Darren McGill opened the scoring on 17 minutes to kick start a goal rush of 4 goals over a twelve minute spell. Substitute Dale Moore (left), an early replacement for Chris Dallas who suffered a bad back injury, made it 2-0.  Cameron Marlow added a third before Moore bagged his brace to put the home side four up. Tommy Sloan pulled one back for Bankies before the break.

Mick McCann restored Glens four goal lead 10 minutes after the break and Ryan Borris completed the scoring with a well struck free-kick in the closing minutes to seal a 6-1 win.

A pleasing feature of the game were the introduction of Jake Griffin and Ryan Berry came off the bench to make their first apperances in the first team, since signing on from the Glens U19’s at the turn of the year.

The Glens will now host Cumnock Juniors in the 2nd round after their 5-0 win away to Saltcoats Victoria.
