There was no quarter given in this high temp match. Glens came within a whisker of taking an early lead after Darren McGill leapt between to defenders to loop a powerful header that beat the keeper before crashing over the bar. Chris Lennon put the hosts ahead on 9 minutes after cleverly killing a ball from the right into box before turning hooking his shot low into the corner of the net. Glens drew level on 56 minutes with a goal made and finished by David Gray. The midfielder quickly retrieved the ball after his free-kick from 25 yards crashed of the wall and chipped it into corner of the six yard box for Joe Andrew to trap and hold expertly before rolling it back to Gray who then threaded the ball between two defenders and into the corner of the net beyond the reach of the keeper.
