Glenafton played some good football in the first half and Annbank tried without luck to catch the Glens on the break, but with the teams level at halftime both might feel a wee bit unlucky not to have broke the deadlock. The second half saw Glenaftons passing game dominating the second 45mins which seen the pressure resulting in an own goal by an unfortunate Annbank player in the 55th minute. The Glens had further chances to kill this game but failed to take them. Annbank were quite happy to try and catch the Glens with quick breakaways but resolute defending snuffed out any clear goal scoring chances.The game then got a wee bit feisty and some of the tackles warranted the ref having to book an Annbank player and speak to one or two from both sides to cool down a bit. But with no more goals the game finished 1-0 to Glenafton.
