In a game of few chance it was Super LEague 1st Division side Girvan that progressed the Quarter-final through the only goal of the game scored by Andy Stevenson in the second half. A corner-kick was only partially cleared by the Glens defence before the ball was recovered wide on the right and floated to the back post where although keeper Blair Lochhead got both hands to it and push it away a umnarked Andy Stevenson nipped in to score from  tight angle.
