It is with deep sadness and regret that Glenafton Athletic have learned of the passing of life long Glens Supporter Jackie Harris from Drongan .

Jack had been battling a illness which finally got the better of him. He was a much loved supporter of the Glens and was always seen with “Kitch” at his side at the games. We have some great memories of him and stories too long to tell. Now that Jack has passed away the committee will be discussing a  memorial tribute to be laid at Loch Park.

The family would like to thank everyone for their cards and support at this most difficult time. They have informed me that a church service will take place on Friday 1st August, 11:15 and Drongan Church and then at the cemetery at 12 noon.

Our deepest thoughts and sympathies are with the family at this time.

Finally from everyone at Glenafton Athletic  “Auld Jackie” may be gone but will never be forgotten at Loch Park.
