Robert Paterson put the home side ahead on 30 minutes and Jo Maxwell doubled Maybole’s lead on the hour mark. Three minutes later Darren McGill slotted home his first goal for Glenafton to halve the deficit.

With 15 minutes to go substitute Aaron Connolly squared the tie with a powerful finish only for Paterson to restore Maybole’s lead a minute later with the pick of the goals.
