The Scottish Junior Cup 5th round draw was made at Cumnock Juniors Social Club today and the Glens were first out the hat .

• Glenafton v Dunbar or Shotts
• Dundonald or Dalry v Cumbernauld
• Whitletts v Yoker
• Camelon v Sauchie
• Penicuik or Pollok v Irvine Meadow
• Kilsyth v Cumnock
• Tayport v Hurlford
• Girvan or Rutherglen v Bo’ness

There will be no all-Ayrshire ties , with an Ayrshire side featuring in each but all of one of the ties.

The Glens have faced Dunbar in the competition twice before. Famously back in 1960/61 when the sides met in the Quarter-Final with Dunbar coming out in top winning a second replay 2-1 after two 1-1 draws. The East coast side  went on to lift the trophy after beating Cambuslang Rangers in the final.  Dunbar ran out winners again in season 1988/89 when they defeated the Glens 2-1 in trhe 3rd round at Loch Park

Glenafton and Shotts have never faced each other in the competition. Shotts won the trophy two seasons ago, the Super League 1st Division side beating Premier side Auchinleck in the  final, and finishing runners-up to the Glens in the league.
