Glenafton progressed to the 4th round of the Scottish Junior Cup after overcoming Royal Albert in the replay at Stonehouse.
Cameron Marlow, suffering from flu, broke the deadlock on 24 minutes with his 8th goal of the season the score remained that way until the break. Findlay Frye who had taken a bad knock in the first half , didn’t reappear for the second, and was replaced by John Craig.
Aaron Connolly doubled the visitors lead three minutes after the re-start and just before the hour mark Alain Kinney added a third. Soon after substitute Craig Brown, on for the struggling Marlow, made it 4-0 with his first goal for the club. Connolly completed the scoring 7 minutes from time and Alain Kinney, who also took a sore one on the shin, missed a penalty.
