Despite losing the opening two games of the section, the Glens travelled to Townhead in the knowledge that victory would see them through to the knock out stage if Lugar lost to Auchinleck, which they did.

The hosts had the better of the first half with the Glens enjoying the best of the second; former Glens keeper Ally Semple making a fine block from Aaron Connolly.
