With their Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup tie against Dalry postponed due to a frozen Loch Park pitch the Glens travelled to the coast to face Troon in a friendly match.

New signing Ross Robertson put the visitors ahead before Paul McKenzie doubled their advantage. The home side halved the deficit only for midweek signing Graeme Eaglesham to restore the two goal cushion soon after.  Gareth Armstrong completed the scoring in the second half to give the Glens a comfortable 4-1 win.
