Good to see Glenafton legend Richard ‘Nodder’ Kirkpatrick at the Glens Scottish Junior Cup tie with Newmains United at Loch Park yesterday. Local lad Nodder, joined the Glens as teenager in Season 1961/62 from Churches League football and went on to become a prolofic goal scorer, setting a club record of 65 goals in Season 1963/64.
