Glenafton striker Jim Wilson has handed in a transfer request and the club will now listen to offers. Jim was signed by Mark Shanks from Annbank United at the start of season 2010/11 and scored in his debut away to Kello Rovers in an Ardagh Sectional Cup match. He also scored a hat-trick at Cumbernauld in the opening game of the league campaign that season and went on to score 14 goals from 33 starts and a handful of appearances from the bench. With the arrival of Gareth Campbell and Lewis Sloan at Loch Park this season Jim has made only 1 start from the bench and bagged three goals, his most recent a crucial headed equaliser against Whitletts.
